Hesper Khong

Boston

After graduating college, I worked as a research assistant, studying skin cancer at a children's hospital. My time there allowed me to nurture my analytical skills, engage with patients from diverse backgrounds, and gain insight into future pursuits. My mentor encouraged me to learn R to work with large datasets and soon I was immersed in the tech space; my time outside of lab was spent tinkering with other languages and coding projects centering accessibility and engagement, which resulted in an initiative streamlining workflows and boosting productivity. I continue to hold my interdisciplinary background and curiosity close to heart. Now I’m a software engineer hoping to collaborate with others to innovate and bridge gaps— let’s make tech accessible to every user together!
